Final major project based on my safari experience in Kenya, Africa, I took inspiration from the wildlife and the Masai Mara to create a menswear collection that reflects the vibrant tribes and endangered animals that live alongside them. This collection acts as a way to raise awareness of the beautiful wildlife that we should strive to protect. Drawing from the rich textures, draped silhouettes and pigmented colours of the Masai Mara men and women, silhouettes are constructed from both manual and digital pattern cutting in Lectra and Clo3D for reduced waste, taking their cue from the outline shape of native animals and traditional safari wear.
